Terms of use
Last updated October 2026
These terms cover using Tiny Guestlist to make invitations, collect RSVPs and send birthday cards. By using the site, you agree to them. If something here doesn’t make sense, email hello@tinyguestlist.com.
Who can use it
Tiny Guestlist is for parents, guardians and other adults planning kids’ parties. You need to be 18 or older to make a party or a card. Kids can enjoy the invitations and cards, but an adult should be the one using the site.
Your party and your links
- You’re responsible for the details you add and the people you send links to.
- Links can’t be guessed, but anyone you share a link with can open it. Your private RSVP link shows your guest list, so keep it to yourself.
- We don’t use accounts yet. If you lose your private link and didn’t leave an email, we may not be able to find your party for you.
Designs you upload
Only upload a design you made or have permission to use, like one you bought on Etsy with a personal-use license or made in Canva. Don’t upload anything that copies someone else’s artwork or characters without permission. You keep any rights you have in your design, and you let us store and show it to the people you send your links to.
Artwork we draw for you
When you describe a party and we draw the artwork, you can use it for your party and share it with your guests. It’s made by a computer from your words, so it may not be perfect, and something similar could be drawn for someone else. Don’t ask for artwork of real people, or of characters and brands you don’t have the rights to.
Birthday cards and group cards
Keep messages kind and right for kids. Whoever makes a group card can remove any note on it, and we may remove cards or notes that break these terms.
Things you can’t do
- Use Tiny Guestlist for spam, ads, or anything that isn’t a real party or card.
- Post anything hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or otherwise not right for kids.
- Collect other families’ information for any reason other than your party.
- Try to break, overload or get around the limits of the site.
Paid extras
Invitations, RSVPs and birthday cards are free. When paid extras are offered, like Party Plus, gift cards or printed keepsakes, the price is shown before you pay. Gift cards are provided by our gift card partner and follow the store’s own terms. Printed keepsakes are made to order, so we can’t take them back unless they arrive damaged or wrong; if that happens, email us and we’ll make it right.
Invite a friend
When a family makes their first Tiny Guestlist party through your invite link and adds their email, their party gets Party Plus free and you earn one free Party Plus for a future party. A family counts once, by email, and you can’t refer yourself. Free Party Plus has no cash value and can’t be transferred. We may change or end the program, but we’ll honor free Party Plus you’ve already earned.
Text messages
Tiny Guestlist party reminders: when a guest leaves a mobile number on an invitation, we text them about that party only, such as a reminder before the RSVP date or the party and updates from the host. Up to 5 texts per party. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or email hello@tinyguestlist.com. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our privacy policy.
Deleting your party
Allergy notes and guests’ email addresses are deleted automatically about 30 days after the party. To delete a whole party sooner, email us from the address you used, or include your private RSVP link, and we’ll remove it.
The fine print
We work hard to keep Tiny Guestlist running and your information safe, but the site is provided as is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Please double-check important details, like allergies and headcounts, with your guests. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses from using the site, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
We may update these terms as Tiny Guestlist grows. If we make a big change, we’ll update the date at the top and, if you left an email, let you know.
See our privacy page for what we collect and how long we keep it.
