Drop-off party invitation wording
Drop-off parties are easier for everyone, as long as parents know exactly what to expect.
Saying it clearly
This is a drop-off party! Drop-off at 2:00, pick-up at 4:00.
Grown-ups are welcome to drop off and enjoy two hours to themselves. Pick-up at 4!
Drop-off party for the kids; parents of little ones under 4 are welcome to stay.
Details parents need
- Exact drop-off and pick-up times
- A phone number to reach you during the party
- Allergies and anything their child needs (socks for soft play, a swimsuit, etc.)
- Who is picking up, if it’s not the parent
When it’s right for drop-off
Most families are comfortable with drop-off from about age 5 or kindergarten. For younger kids, invite one grown-up per child to stay.
